Our aim is to create a space where artists from all backgrounds can share their unique perspectives and creative visions with our community. We hope to prevent diverse works to the widest possible audience to encourage dialogue, exchange and exposure.

Tanksation’s Exhibition Gallery

Our exhibition gallery features a carefully curated selection of paintings, sculptures, photographs, and mixed media pieces from artists around the world. We believe that art has the power to connect people across cultures and to spark conversations that can lead to meaningful change. That’s why we are committed to highlighting artists whose work reflects a wide range of experiences and voices.

Each month, Tankstation features a new (group of) artist(s), each with their own distinct style and approach to their craft. We strive to present a diverse array of artists in terms of race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, and background.

At our gallery, we believe that art should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or experience with the art world. That’s why we strive to create an inclusive space where all visitors can feel welcome and inspired. We hope that our website will serve as a source of inspiration and appreciation for the power of art to bring people together and create positive change.

Art at the table

We show art in our dining room, where people come together, eat, or spend time catching up and sharing a drink. Here, art is in sight! “Art at the table” allows visitors to be frequently surrounded by all kinds of creative work while they chill and enjoy their time at Tankstation.

Co-creative Workshop Tables

A workshop area for anyone to sit down and join the craft and arts activities. Think about freestyle drawing, making collages. Just as a relaxing activity or for actively skill-sharing and meeting new people. If you have an idea for a temporary workshop also join the table and discuss it. We’ve enjoyed workshops like DIY Gender Neutral Nail Polish, Tarot Reading and Fortune Telling, Henna Tattoos, Glue Gun Sculptures, Painting, Fimo Sculptures and even Massage and Meditation.

Ateliers

Tankstation also hosts four ateliers. At the moment we host five artists: Erwin Christiaan Adema, Miguel Dominguez, Nana and Marcel, And Overlap.

Opening hours: Tuesdays & Thursdays from 18:00 – 22:00

In addition, we are open to organise workshops, artist talks, arts & crafts markets, and more! If you have any proposals contact us via the contact page!
