From the 11th to the 20th of October Enschede is celebrating the Rainbow Days - its local pride! This means that Tankstation will adapt its program to celebrate the creative achievements of queer people... and invite others to join in!

Like any other day, you can join us for dinner. From 20.00 we will be hosting a stage program by queer artists and allies. Keep an eye on our channels and this event to find out the names of the performers.

About the artists

Maeve is a non-binary singer, songwriter and producer who creates an indie pop sound. They are of local origin but have spread their wings to study music and performance at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Utrecht. They have also just released a new EP. Maartje is a Dutch upcoming pop singer. Her music is both accessible and a little unusual. Her inspirations are the ups and downs of daily life. She will make you dance, perhaps she'll touch you enough to make you cry. Perhaps both! You can follow her on Instagram. Curious what she sounds like? Give her a listen on Spotify!

Our second act for tonight will be the local band TRUT. For this act we will pump up the volume and take you to the territories of rock and punk. TRUT centers around power. Whether that’s power in politics, societal power, power during sex, or power in a fight. Self-proclaimed “frontbitch” Seth pulls you in with intimate melodies, and lyrics that walk the line between vulnerability and rage, while the band erupts behind her.
