At Tankstation, we believe that diversity is the lifeblood of any community. We are a non-profit, artistic, cultural organization that provides a unique space for people from all walks of life to connect and grow. Our vision is to continue to foster a community where people can come together, share their stories, and build something collaboratively.
We provide a sanctuary where you can express yourself the way you are, a place where you can let your guard down and connect with like-minded people. Our common kitchen serves up a daily-changing international menu, offering a taste of home for everyone. Our cultural events celebrate the richness of our collective heritage, showcasing food, art, music, and activities from all corners of the world.
Tankstation is more than just a space; it is a community of people who care about each other. Our volunteers are motivated by the opportunity to make a valuable contribution and to meet others who share their passion for creating something beautiful. Our Give & Take shop promotes sustainability, offering a way to share, reuse, and recycle things that might otherwise go to waste.
We believe that art is a universal language, and our exhibition space is a testament to that. We showcase local artists alongside those from around the world, celebrating the beauty of diverse perspectives. The locally famous Tankstation stage is a hub of creativity, hosting live music, comedy, open mic nights, and performances of all kinds. Our workshop space has and will continue to facilitate a variety of learning and teaching experiences such as Djembe, sound therapy for neurodivergents, foraging, and more!
Tankstation maintains an essential space in the city, where people can feel connected, integrated, and valued. Tankstation is a non-conventional place where all people and ideas are welcome. Our volunteers come from all walks of life, united by their desire to create a space where everyone can grow and learn.
We invite you to join our international community, where you can try new things, meet new people, and find a sense of belonging. Tankstation is a second home to many, a place where you can feel safe to be yourself, and where you can make lasting connections with others who share your passion for life.
