Kitchen

Food is one of the most important aspects of our project. We think of food as the first lesson of sharing with each other, so the kitchen is our heart and the dining room our soul! We see the dining tables as a platform to meet, eat, share, and face each other!

We invite people from different nations and cultural backgrounds into the kitchen to cook, share their traditional recipes, give workshops, and tell us stories. Our world kitchen has produced Vietnamese, Indian, Indonesian, Persian, Syrian, Moroccan, Latvian, Polish, Spanish, local dishes, to name a few. Our food is colorful, joyful and sometimes surprising!

Our “Common Kitchen” hosts many people to prepare and cook food together. Our “Common Kitchen” is not a restaurant. We are not professionals but we are passionate. Our kitchen coordinator takes care of planning budget, time and quantities. For every cook who joins the adventure, there are many helping hands and a little reward! You wanna cook your grandma’s recipes? Very welcome! Join the kitchen crew by filling in our volunteering form.

Besides the public opening hours, there are many possibilities to use the kitchen. If you have any ideas, private celebrations, or meetings, please send us a message via the contact page.
